Camp Wilson

May 6, 2018 Held every May in the mountains above Pine, this annual event features Boy Scouts from throughout the region gathering for three days of fun and skill competitions. The events conclude on Sunday with a BBQ provided by the local Camp Wilson volunteers. General public is invited to attend the Sunday BBQ from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. The money raised from BBQ attendees is used to support a number of scholarships and other youth causes.

Crazee Dayz

May 19, 2018 Head down to Railroad Park and get Crazee with the locals. Kick off the summer with food, fun for the whole family, and all-day activities. There will be bounce houses, bungee runs and more!

Gunfighter Skies Airshow 2018

June 2, 2018 – June 3, 2018 The Mountain Home Air Force Base will open their gates and welcome thousands to Mountain Home Air Force Base for The Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds are the Air Force’s elite aerial demonstration team and will be performing both days.

Daniel Dopps Memorial RAM PRCA Rodeo

June 22, 2018 – June 23, 2018 The Daniel Dopps Memorial RAM PRCA Rodeo is held in Daniel’s hometown annually on the last weekend in June at Optimist Park. At this Rodeo, you can be sure to take part in a family-friendly environment, watch events ranging from Barrel Racing to Bull Riding, join in on some dancing to local musical performances and so much more. On the morning of the 23rd there will be a Run with the Bull 5K and 1 Mile Trail Fun Run. (Deadlines for entries are June 11th at 8pm)

July 4th Festival

July 4, 2018 Start with a festival in Carl Miller Park from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm before heading over to the Desert Canyon Golf Course at dusk to experience one of the best firework displays in Idaho, sure to impress.

Elmore County Fair & Rodeo

July 15, 2018 – July 21, 2018 The Elmore County Fair & Rodeo is held annually the second full week of July in Glenns Ferry. This is a week jam packed with fun. Entertain the entire family with the carnival rides and concessions or head on over to the rodeo where you can check out multiple events.

Mountain Home Country Music Festival

July 27, 2018 – July 29, 2018 People travel from nearby states and beyond, to partake in this three-day event complete with some of the best music Country has to offer. The Festival is situated at the base of Sawtooth National Forest and just thirty minutes outside of Mountain Home, Idaho. Get the full experience with on-site camping as you gear up to be entertained by star studded performances from artists like Eric Church, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and more. We know that getting your country on can work up quite an appetite, so you’ll be able to indulge in your choice of food and drink vendors that are sure to satisfy!

Endless Summer Festival of Beer

August 18, 2018 Take part in this family-friendly festival to celebrate Local Idaho breweries as they pour some of the best beer in the west. While enjoying every refreshing sip, you can check out the other offerings such as music, food trucks, and free games for the kids brought to you by The City of Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department. Stick around for a movie in the park to wrap up this experience.

Air Force Appreciation Day

September 8, 2018 In 1961, the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce began the Air Force Appreciation Day celebration as a way to thank all the local military for all they do for our country and our local communities. It now holds a special date ever year on the Saturday following Labor Day. The events begin with a parade full of local clubs, committees, businesses and more, showing off their floats or walking along the route with their enthusiastic and contagious spirit! After the parade, you can head down to Carl Miller Park where you can grab a bite to eat before you stroll through the park to check out different vendors and listen to some live music.

Mountain Home Scottish Highland Games

October 20, 2018 - October 21, 2018 This event brought to you every year on the 3rd weekend in October, showcases Scottish and Celtic Cultures, games and attire. For this two-day event, you’ll be able to watch the Scottish Highland Games and afterwards, share in multi-cultural entertainment, food, and crafts from vendors. This event is fit for the whole family with its kid-friendly games and bounce houses.

Fall Harvest Festival

October 27, 2018 Make your way to the Downtown Core to bring in the golden season. At the Fall Harvest Festival, you’ll be able to explore the downtown streets that are lined with local and regional vendors, Farmers Markets, and live entertainment. Join in on contests such as the Scarecrow Contest or the Jam Contest. Treat yourself to delicious pies and other fall goodies. And don’t miss out on a hayride in the warm autumn sun.

Light the Forest

November 30, 2018 Watch the festive parade as it travels through the Downtown Core and makes its way to Carl Miller Park, where memories are made as the park is lit up with wonder and merriment from the Christmas lights and decorations. This is a magical event that is perfect for citizens of any age.
